A tragic incident occurred on a McKeesport road yesterday afternoon when a bicyclist died after striking an SUV, local authorities reported. According to WPXI, first responders were dispatched to the 600 block of Eden Park Boulevard at approximately 3:22 p.m. after reports of the collision came in.
The Allegheny County Police indicated that the victim, a woman, appeared to be riding her bike erratically along the side of the road before she lost control and made impact with the side of a westbound-moving SUV. She was pronounced dead upon their arrival at the scene. In the aftermath of the tragic event, the driver of the SUV remained at the location until authorities arrived. The name of the deceased has not yet been disclosed.
