The U.S. Coast Guard has confirmed the recovery of a body belonging to a man who had been missing since Sunday, last seen jet skiing in Galveston Bay. The search, which commenced yesterday afternoon, came to a close with this sad revelation.
He was observed for the final time at approximately 2:30 p.m. last Sunday near the Galveston-Bolivar Ferry, described as wearing blue shorts and a white and green fishing shirt. His jet ski, a white, gray, and orange Sea-Doo along with his personal items, was found aimlessly adrift near San Leon around 5:30 p.m., as reported by KHOU.
