Rockford Ambulance, where Deems also served as a Paramedic Supervisor, confirmed their involvement in responding to the crash and shared their sorrow, CEO Tim Armstrong said, "Today, we lost a valuable member of the community, friend, and family member who has always put others above himself while serving in his communities," according to a statement obtained by FOX17.
