Residents in East Harriet and King Field can look forward to less construction-related disruptions come the end of June. CenterPoint Energy is hustling to wrap up its ongoing pipeline system maintenance within these neighborhoods. The company, which runs a sizable 14,000-mile network in Minnesota, has emphasized the necessity of these upgrades for ensuring continuous safe and reliable natural gas service, as reported by CenterPoint Energy.
According to a recent bulletin, locals have been told to expect service line upgrades along with meter replacements and relocations as part of this initiative. After extensive drilling and digging, the construction crews are set to leave by the end of the month, making way for restoration teams to begin repairing the affected areas.
The inconvenience hasn't gone unnoticed by the energy provider. "Thank you for your continued patience. We understand the impact our construction has on your community, and value the privilege of serving you," CenterPoint Energy said in a recent update.
The energy supplier has put up more information on their website for those looking to better understand the nature of the work and its impacts. Those with direct concerns are encouraged to reach out directly to their Communication Specialist by calling 612-542-6198 or shooting an email over to [email protected].
