A juvenile was taken to the hospital yesterday after a shooting incident that occurred on the I-240 ramp near Perkins Road, the Memphis Police Department (MPD) reported. The child, whose injuries were stated to be non-critical, arrived at Baptist East at approximately 4:05 p.m., prompting a police response, as per Action News 5.
In the aftermath of the shooting, a suspect was detained by officers in the 900 block of Cully Road, although details about the detention remain sparse.
