The City of Bloomington has recently garnered the title of being one of Minnesota's Top Workplaces for 2025, according to a report by Bloomington's own news release. Sitting comfortably at No. 45 on the list among organizations with 500 or more employees, the City stands out for creating a supportive culture of engagement and effective communication. These rankings were derived from surveys filled out by employees, providing insight into key work-related areas including alignment with company vision, execution of tasks, and overall connection with the workplace.
The City's placement on this prestigious list didn't just happen by accident, it's the result of its concerted effort to foster an inclusive and forward-thinking atmosphere where its employees have the chance to excel and feel connected to their work, the Minnesota Star Tribune and Energage's collaboration on this award highlights employers who make workplaces worth coming to every day, and Bloomington seems to have hit the right marks. More than 5,000 organizations were invited to participate, with over 149 thousand employees sharing their views on what makes their workplace shine.
In response to this recognition, Bloomington Mayor Tim Busse expressed his pride and credited the staff, stating, "We are honored to be recognized as one of Minnesota’s Top Workplaces," and as he told the official news release of the City, "This reflects the dedication and passion of our staff, who serve the community with integrity and excellence every day."
