A 27-year-old man, Ralphale Armstrong, has been faced with charges in connection with a stabbing incident at Pinnacle Bowling Alley and a subsequent vehicle crash. Clarksville Police Department's social media update confirms that Armstrong has been charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault, along with Vehicular Assault, Driving Under the Influence (DUI), Reckless Driving, Open Container, and Possession without a Prescription.
The incident unfolded yesterday, with officers responding to reports of a stabbing. According to the initial findings, a light-skinned Black male allegedly stabbed two individuals before being chased from the premises. The exact nature of the relationship between Armstrong and the victims remains undisclosed. Shortly after the altercation, at 10:57 PM, a crash involving Armstrong's vehicle was reported. A second vehicle initially thought to be involved was later cleared of connection to the crash.
Details regarding the degree of the victims' injuries have been sparse, but initial indications point towards them not being life-threatening. Two juveniles who were in Armstrong's vehicle sustained only minor injuries and were subsequently released to their parents. The crash captured attention as the suspect's vehicle had struck a telephone pole and turned over near Rossview Road and Bellamy Lane.
