A fatal car crash claimed the life of a 39-year-old Concord man on Thursday night near Homer, Michigan. The incident occurred just before 11:10 p.m. on M-60, close to the intersection with 29 Mile Road, the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Upon their arrival, deputies found the vehicle severely damaged and located in the center of the roadway. It is surmised that the motorist was propelled from the car during the rollover, as per WOODTV. Emergency teams were quick to render medical attention to the victim, but, despite their efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately released, and while the contributing factors of the collision are still under investigation, it remains uncertain if speed or alcohol were involved, according to WWMT. The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, along with several emergency services, including the Michigan State Police, Homer Fire Department, WMed, and Albion Community Ambulance, responded to the emergency call.
