As Dallas readies itself to witness the transformation of a landmark, the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center is opening its doors, figuratively and soon enough literally, for community input on its redesign. The project team is seeking your thoughts and has organized two events where voices can be raised, suggestions made, and updates shared, as per the City of Dallas.

The first opportunity to engage will be through a Telephone Town Hall on June 17, from 5:30 PM to 6:15 PM. This event aims not only to provide the latest updates but also to actively involve the community via live polling and a question-and-answer segment. Importantly, it will be conducted bilingually, ensuring more residents can comfortably participate. To be a part of this, individuals need to register ahead of time.

For those preferring to physically attend and maybe look representatives in the eye while discussing plans, a second event extends this opportunity. An In-Person Town Hall, with a virtual option to boot, has been scheduled for June 24, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. The location, however, remains to be determined. One can safely assume it would be announced soon enough, ensuring everyone interested knows exactly where to show up or tune in.
