Clear skies are predicted, but the low will drop to around 54, and the blustery conditions are expected to persist, with winds changing direction from west southwest to north northeast after midnight. For those looking forward to the start of the new week, Monday will also be mostly sunny with temperatures cooling to a more comfortable high near 78 degrees, albeit still breezy, while the north wind will come at 5 to 15 mph becoming east southeast in the afternoon with gusts that could also hit 28 mph.
The temperamental Colorado weather continues through the week, with the National Weather Service alerting to a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight on Monday Night, moving into Tuesday, where the chances increase to 50 percent post-noon; though, partly sunny with a high near 85 is also on the books. The rest of the week looks to toe the line between sunny to mostly cloudy skies, with continued patterns of late-day showers and thunderstorms and daytime highs ranging between 79 and 93 degrees.
