Residents of Duncanville facing the aftermath of recent storms can expect some relief in the coming days as the city ramps up its brush and bulk trash pickup efforts. According to a Duncanville city announcement, Republic Services has been grappling with an increased volume of waste and debris, prompting the city to call in additional resources to manage the cleanup. Camacho Tree Service and Landscaping is stepping in to assist with the southern part of the city, beginning their work this weekend.
To expedite the process and alleviate the strain on local services, Republic will deploy a second truck starting Monday; however, it's worth noting that Camacho's role isn't a mere stopgap measure, instead, they will work alongside Republic until every corner of Duncanville feels the sweep of rejuvenation, the debris of the storm is just memory tossed away with the trash.
The city has set its sights on resuming the normal pickup schedule by the week of June 30, though this is contingent on the whims of weather.
