Early this morning, a serious accident occurred at the intersection of West Palfrey Street and Goliad Road. A white sedan reportedly ran a red light and struck a pickup truck, causing it to topple and trap the driver inside, as reported by KENS 5.
San Antonio firefighters rapidly responded to the scene, where they proceeded to pry the door open in order to extricate the trapped truck driver. Both drivers sustained minor injuries and were attended to by emergency medical services. At present, authorities have not indicated if any charges will be brought against either party involved in the incident.
