FOX 10 Phoenix reports that a single vehicle rolled over into the yard of a home around 5 a.m. yesterday near 27th Avenue and Bethany Home Road, the occupants fled the scene before police arrival and no injuries to the home's occupants were reported.

Meanwhile, a tragic outcome unfolded on I-17 as an 18-year-old wrong-way driver lost her life, and the collision sent a 53-year-old man to the hospital, with serious injuries the Department of Public Safety has yet to determine the cause of the crash which occurred at milepost 196 near 7th Avenue. 12News identified the deceased as Javayah Shecole Burkett from Glendale, and as of now, the investigation is ongoing with details pending.

Phoenix Police Department is currently investigating the circumstances that led to the rollover crash, as per the details shared by Phoenix Police Sgt. Rob Scherer, "When officers arrived, they located a single vehicle, which had rolled over into the yard of the home," and added insight into the incident, "Witnesses indicated that multiple occupants of the vehicle ran from the scene prior to police arrival. There were no occupants of the vehicle at the scene when officers arrived," as mentioned on FOX 10 Phoenix.
