The El Paso Police reported that upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a male victim deceased on the road, an occurrence which marks the city's 27th traffic fatality this year, according to the El Paso Police Department.
The preliminary findings indicate that Mr. White was heading southbound when he encountered the pedestrian lying in the roadway. Despite his efforts to swerve out of the way, contact was unavoidable. White then contacted the authorities following the incident.
