The City of Eloy is extending an invitation to its residents and community members to engage in a conversation that will coin the future of their home. The gathering, named EloyTalks, is designed as an integral part of the ongoing General Plan Update – a blueprint to navigate the growth and development of the city.
On June 21, Peter Kageyama, a speaker known for his work on community engagement and development, will lead the discussion at Eloy City Hall. Kageyama seeks to truly connect residents with the physical spaces they inhabit, a notion that is particularly salient as Eloy charts its path ahead. In a statement obtained by the City of Eloy, Kageyama is lauded for his bestselling books such as "For the Love of Cities" which detail strategies for creating emotionally invested communities.
This event is a free, open opportunity for Eloy's inhabitants to voice their perspectives and contribute to a shared vision. "Your participation is vital as we update the City of Eloy’s General Plan and shape the vision for our growing community," conveyed the City of Eloy announcement. The session promises to be interactive, combining expert insight with the lived experiences of Eloy's own citizenry.
Interested participants are encouraged to RSVP for the event, set to take place from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM. Details and registration can be found on the City of Eloy website or by simply scanning the QR code displayed on the event's promotional materials. "We look forward to seeing you there and hearing your ideas!" nurtures the hope of a collective effort in molding Eloy's trajectory.
