The Euclid Police Department is expanding its capability to patrol parks and beaches with the introduction of a Polaris Ranger UTV to its fleet. This new addition, aimed at bolstering law enforcement presence in recreational areas, was debuted in a social media post last Friday. The Euclid Police excitedly announced their latest acquisition, stating that the Utility Task Vehicle is "built for adventure" and perfect for maintaining "a watchful eye on our beautiful parks and Lake Erie beaches," according to the department's Facebook post.
The UTV's introduction isn't just about utility; it's a community affair, as demonstrated during a recent spin through Memorial Park where Lt. Walsh led Cindy, Kelley, and Kate on a hands-on training that was all fun and no crashes, just good laughs, according to the same post.
Furthermore, ready to demonstrate the UTV's potential in fostering connections between law enforcement and the public, the Euclid Police invite locals to catch the Ranger in action at the Walk & Stroll on East 185th Street.
