Euless is gearing up to host its annual Junior Fire Academy, and registrations are now open for the 2025 session. Scheduled from June 16 to June 20, the program invites children aged 11-15 to delve into the realms of fire safety and lifesaving skills. According to the information provided on the City of Euless website, the Academy will run daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Fire Administration Building, located at 201 N. Ector Dr., Euless, Texas.
This year's program features a range of activities designed to teach children the importance of teamwork, responsibility, and leadership. Participants will be offered tours of fire stations and apparatus, provided with fire extinguisher training, and instructed in first aid and CPR. Young minds eager to learn will also partake in mock search and rescue drills and hose operations. The cost of participation is pegged at $75, a fee that encompasses lunches, snacks, and an academy T-shirt.
