A recent update from Charlotte County has announced the opening of the southern end of the Englewood Beach parking lot, just in time for the weekend. The update, published in a press release, confirms that an additional 77 parking spaces will be available south of the roundabout.
This expansion increases the parking capacity at Chadwick Park and the mentioned lot to 153 total spots. However guests looking to plunge into the ocean will have to be mindful, the parking area north of the roundabout will remain off limits due to ongoing work. Nevertheless, the county assures that adequate temporary facilities, including portable toilets, will be ready for public use.
