On Tuesday, deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to a theft at the Target store at 19511 North Freeway. They arrested Adeline Jones, Carnell Moore, and Cakeena Mitchell. Constable Herman’s office said Mitchell had an active felony warrant for theft, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
The suspects allegedly bypassed all sales checkpoints with $224.46 worth of unpaid goods. After the arrests, the items were returned to the store. "They were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail," Harris County Constable Precinct 4 said. Adeline Jones faces charges of Theft, with her bond set at $100 in County Court 2. Carnell Moore and Cakeena Mitchell were charged with Felony Theft due to two prior convictions, and their bond hearings are pending in the 486th District Court.
According to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their Facebook page, Target has had multiple theft incidents, including a recent one involving family members. Authorities are addressing thefts from shoplifting to organized retail crime.
