
A fatal incident occurred in Milwaukee involving a motorcycle and another vehicle, which resulted in the death of one individual. According to reports by WISN 12 News, the crash took place near the intersection of 76th Street and Florist Avenue yesterday evening.
The Milwaukee County medical examiner's office confirmed that it was summoned to the scene for one fatality. The Milwaukee Fire Department disclosed they were dispatched at approximately 8:15 p.m. However, at this time, further details on potential additional injuries or the circumstances leading up to the accident have still to be fully ascertained.
Further information provided by FOX6 News indicates that a 40-year-old motorcyclist was traveling north on 76th Street when a vehicle, initially going south and then making a left turn onto Florist, collided with the motorcycle. The aftermath was dire for the motorcyclist who died at the scene.
Fleeing the scene, the driver of the car involved in the crash remains at large. In a statement obtained by WTMJ, the Milwaukee Police stated their ongoing search for the driver in question. The hit-and-run nature of this incident has added a layer of urgency to swiftly find and to properly question the driver who fled.
Authorities are currently reaching out to the public seeking any information that could assist in locating the fleeing driver. Police have asked those with knowledge of the incident or the whereabouts of the involved driver to come forward as part of their investigation into this fatal event.
