A Fort Worth man has been handed a half-century prison term for his crimes involving child pornography. Jamie Hackney, 36, received a 50-year sentence after a guilty plea to charges of both producing and transporting child pornography, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
On a Cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, concerning abusive images connected to Hackney's Google account, the Fort Worth Police Department initiated an investigation that uncovered incriminating evidence. Acting U.S. Attorney Nancy Larson announced the sentence last Friday, while United States District Judge Reed O’Connor delivered the sentence, ensuring Hackney will spend decades behind bars.
The abhorrent activities of Hackney were brought to light through diligent efforts by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Fort Worth Police Department. Their collaboration led to the conclusive findings required for the subsequent legal proceedings.
Assistant United States Attorney Allyson Monte prosecuted the case, cementing an end to Hackney’s freedom.
