Gunshots were reported outside a local bar on the Northwest Side earlier today. San Antonio police responded to a call from Hills and Dales Ice House on White Fawn Drive, close to Loop 1604, where a shooting incident took place around 2 a.m., as per a report by KTSA News. Authorities revealed that an altercation that spiraled out of control as the bar was closing led to an individual retrieving a firearm from their vehicle and opening fire.
Two individuals were injured during the incident, one of whom sustained a gunshot wound to the back and was transported to the hospital, where they are reported to be in stable condition. The second individual drove themselves to the hospital, and their condition has not been disclosed.
The San Antonio Police Department continues to investigate and is actively searching for the suspect, who fled the scene and remains unidentified. According to Fox San Antonio, police are reviewing evidence at the scene and collecting witness statements to identify the suspect and determine a motive.
