Last week, the Harris County Constable's Office reported the arrest of a suspected drunk driver. Deputies apprehended the individual after encountering a traffic hazard last Saturday, according to the office's Facebook page. April Massey was identified as the errant driver along the 2100 block of W Sam Houston Tollway N, exhibiting signs of inebriation, which prompted the administration of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests.
The tests concluded that Massey was intoxicated, and further investigation determined her alcohol content to be 0.159—more than twice the legal limit; the finding led to her arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. In the statement made by the Constable's Office, "April Massey was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Driving While Intoxicated. Her bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 5," Constable Mark Herman said.
