Last Saturday, deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office stopped a vehicle on the 7800 block of FM 1960 Bypass Rd W for suspected erratic driving. The driver, Iristis Cooks, was given sobriety tests after showing signs of intoxication, as stated by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
Harris County Constable Precinct 4 reported that Cooks failed the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests and had a blood alcohol level of 0.097, which is over the legal limit. The arrest was part of ongoing efforts by Constable Mark Herman’s office to address drunk driving.
"Iristis Cooks was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Driving While Intoxicated. Her bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 7," according to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their Facebook page.
