A two-alarm fire occurred on Monday evening at a commercial building near I-45 and N. Shepherd Drive in North Houston. The Houston Fire Department responded around 4:49 p.m. to 7720 N. Shepherd Drive, where the building housed an auto repair warehouse and a video store. Due to concerns about a possible roof collapse, firefighters fought the fire from outside. About 80 to 100 fire personnel were at the scene. One firefighter was hospitalized with an ankle injury, and several others were treated on-site for minor heat-related issues, according to ABC13.
