
Houston police are currently delving into a fatal shooting incident that transpired this past Saturday night around 8 p.m. at an apartment complex located at 8217 Fulton Street. The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Julius Escobar, who tragically lost his life to a gunshot wound found in the parking lot of the complex.
According to details released in a statement obtained by the City of Houston News, responding officers from the Houston Police Department attempted to provide emergency aid upon arrival at the scene. Unfortunately, their efforts were not successful; paramedics pronounced Mr. Escobar deceased shortly after their own arrival. Detectives N. Henderson and L. Patterson of the HPD Homicide Division is leading the investigation into this incident, under case number Inc. #077566125.
As the investigation continues, limited information regarding the suspect has emerged. It is understood that the perpetrator fled the scene in a vehicle described as a white, 4-door sedan. The police are actively seeking any leads that could assist in apprehending the individual responsible for this heinous act.
