The Houston community is grappling with unwelcome news as police investigate a fatal shooting that claimed the life of Quincy White, a 31-year-old man, at approximately 2 a.m. last Saturday. The incident took place at a business located at 3301 Green Street, according to a report by the City of Houston.
White was reportedly sitting in his vehicle outside the store when he was ambushed by gunfire from an unidentified assailant driving a dark-colored sedan; the vehicle fled the scene afterward. This information gathered by HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Roberts and Detective J. Wallschlaeger points to a brazen attack with little apparent regard for detection. White managed to escape the initial attack and seek refuge inside the store, where he eventually collapsed and succumbed to his injuries. Houston Fire Department paramedics confirmed his death at the scene.
