
Last Monday morning, the quiet of Aledo Street was shattered by gunfire, leading to the death of a 38-year-old man, whose identity remains to be disclosed pending family notification. The Houston Police Department is currently piecing together the chain of events that culminated in this tragic incident.
According to a report by the City of Houston's official newsroom, officers were called to the scene at 4600 Aledo Street around 6:20 a.m. following a report of a person down. Arriving at the address, they discovered an unresponsive male suffering from a gunshot wound. First responders pronounced the man dead at the scene, found unresponsive with at least one bodily trauma indicative of a shooting.
Houston police are asking for the public’s help, as the motive and suspects in the case are still unknown. Sergeant S. Jimenez and Detective C.
