
The Houston Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the community to identify a suspect involved in a recent robbery at a local drug store. According to the authorities, the incident occurred on Friday, April 25, at approximately 8:30 pm in the East Houston area.
An unidentified male walked into the drug store located on the 500 block of Maxey Road. The suspect seemed to intend on making a purchase, but when the employee opened the cash register to complete the transaction, the man reached over the counter. In a forceful manner, the individual took an undisclosed amount of money from the register before fleeing the scene, as reported by the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division.
The department has issued a description of the suspect: he is a Black male, who was last seen wearing a navy blue pullover jacket, black pants, and sporting dreads. The case has been filed under Houston PD #535446-25, and investigators are urging anyone with any information to come forward.
