
The Houston Police Department is soliciting help from the public in their search for four suspects involved in a recent armed robbery at a convenience store. According to details released by the Houston Police, this incident occurred in the early morning hours of Wednesday, April 23, when four unidentified males entered a convenience store located at the 2500 block of North Freeway in Houston.
Initially masquerading as average customers browsing the aisles, the situation escalated when three of them brandished handguns. They pointed their weapons at the store clerk, demanding money from the cash registers. As the employee reached for his own firearm, the suspects opened fire several times while fleeing the premises, terrified. The employee was reportedly unharmed despite the gunfire. The suspects managed to escape on foot.
In their attempt to capture these individuals, the Houston Police Department has offered a description of the suspects, requesting that anyone with information come forward. They describe the first suspect as a Black male with a gray hoodie and black pants. The second suspect is a Black male dressed in a black hoodie and black pants. Similarly, the third suspect is described as a Black male wearing a green hoodie paired with gray pants. Lastly, the fourth individual, another Black male, was seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and carrying a gray backpack.
Crime Stoppers of Houston is facilitating the gathering of tips from people who might know something about the suspects or their whereabouts. Initially offering money, individuals with information that leads to an arrest could receive "a cash payment up to $5,000," as reported by the Houston Police Department. Tipsters are encouraged to reach out directly through a call to 713-222-TIPS (8477), or by submitting details online at the official website or via the Crime Stoppers mobile app, to remain anonymous and possibly qualify for the reward.
