According to the Houston PD's report, a male subject entered a Westview area retail store and, after stealing various electronic items, assaulted an employee who confronted him about the unpaid merchandise. The incident, which took place on Friday, May 2, at approximately 2:20 pm, quickly transitioned from shoplifting to robbery when the altercation occurred.
Authorities have released a description of the suspect: a Hispanic male between the ages of 35 and 50, wearing a dark long sleeve shirt, black pants, and white Adidas shoes. The Houston Police Department has not yet been able to identify the individual and is urging anyone with information to come forward.
