The City is piling on the excitement with a Temporary Pump Track Celebration happening on June 7, from noon to 4 p.m. The event, which is family-friendly and comes with zero cost, lines up live music, interactive activities, and a bit of communal zest with local booths. "Head Wide Open" will take to the stage from 12:30–1:30 p.m., providing a live soundtrack to the day's festivities, which also include ramp demos from SKATEDOGS and assorted themed activities.
Event-goers can expect a smorgasbord of things to do, from Pump Track Painting, the Goldfish Game, to scratch art visors. For those whose appetites are stirred by all the action, or maybe by the smells wafting from The Layover, food will be available to purchase. This Irvine summer celebration is shaping up to be a real treat for both the participants on the track and the crowd cheering them on.
