
In a recent resolution to a harrowing case of violence in the community, Isaac Sanchez, 29, has pleaded guilty to Aggravated Kidnapping, with a sentence that will see him behind bars for 25 years. The Fort Worth Police Department's diligence resulted in the quick apprehension of the assailant, a fact that the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office extended gratitude for in a social media post, recognizing their commitment to public safety. "Thanks to the Fort Worth Police Department for their work on this case and for their commitment to keeping our community safe," stated the Tarrant County DA's Office.
On December 24, 2021, at a Fort Worth bus station, Sanchez committed an act of brutality, attacking a woman by shoving her into a bathroom. In the terrifying incident, the victim was strangled until she experienced blurred vision and a loss of breath. Fled the scene as she valiantly fought back, Sanchez was shortly thereafter arrested nearby.
Assistant District Attorneys Melinda Hogan and Darren De La Cruz, alongside Investigator Dara DeWall and Victim Coordinator Angela Stevens, were all pivotal players in securing this outcome. Their coordinated efforts ensured that justice was served and a dangerous individual was removed from the streets.
