In a recent social media post from the Jackson Township Police Department, they unveiled a Public Safety Cadets Unit designed to educate and train young individuals in the principles and practices of law enforcement.
The program is a non-profit volunteer educational endeavor that seeks to directly engage students in Stark County and its environs. By holding bi-weekly meetings, cadet students will be able to fully immerse themselves in the realities of policing, learning the ropes from sworn officers.
