
A recent shooting in Galveston left one person dead and two others injured. According to FOX 26 Houston, 25-year-old Johnathan Lee was arrested on Wednesday and charged with murder and aggravated assault.
A shooting took place in the 2400 block of Avenue E, where 31-year-old Armando Ventura was found dead inside a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. A 29-year-old man was also found with multiple gunshot wounds near 25th Street and Avenue G. A third victim, a 25-year-old man, was located at the 2400 block of Avenue with injuries not related to gunfire, ABC13 reported.
Jonathan Lee has been charged as the only shooter in a case involving three men. He is being held at the Galveston County Jail with a total bond of $1.5 million—$1 million for a murder charge and $500,000 for aggravated assault, as mentioned by FOX 26 Houston. Two men, aged 29 and 25, were taken to the hospital. The 29-year-old had serious injuries but is expected to recover, while details about the 25-year-old’s condition were not released.
