Authorities in Kalamazoo are currently on the hunt for a suspect linked to an early morning bank break-in in Oshtemo Township. The incident occurred at the Fifth Third Bank located at 6040 Stadium Dr. near S. 9th Street, as reported by WOODTV. The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office stated that they were called to the scene around 2:50 a.m. today, where signs of forced entry were evident.
Upon the deputies' arrival, they discovered that the culprit, described as a thin male wearing all black with white socks, had managed to already flee the scene. Despite efforts to quickly locate the individual, utilizing both police dogs and drones, the suspect remains at large. These details were confirmed by the report given by WZZM13.
The search operation included the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, which deployed K-9 units and drones to aid in the manhunt, but these measures did not yield the capture of the suspect. With the investigation persisting, local authorities are calling for the public's assistance.
