Kealakekua residents and visitors have a unique opportunity to sip some coffee while chatting with local law enforcement, as the Hawai‘i Police Department’s Kona Community Policing Section is hosting their latest "Coffee With a Cop" event. Scheduled for June 25, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., the gathering will take place at Caffe Florian, located at 81-6637 Hawaii Belt Road, Kealakekua. Nixle reports that these events are designed to be casual get-togethers with no specific agenda.
"Stop by and get to know your district and Community Policing Officers over a cup of coffee!" Nixle encourages residents. Whether you have pressing issues to discuss or are just looking for a friendly chat, this is an opportunity to build relationships with those tasked with upholding safety in the region.
