The charisma of the silver-haired set is about to be showcased as the City of Las Vegas calls upon its vibrant seniors to take the stage. If you're a Las Vegas resident who’s transcended the half-century mark and harbors a flair for the dramatic—or the musical, comedic, or choreographic—this could be your moment. The City Of Las Vegas is gearing up for its 18th Las Vegas Senior Idol Showcase, an event that puts the spotlight squarely on seasoned amateurs and slick professionals alike, all aged 50 and over.

Auditions for the 18th annual Las Vegas Senior Idol Showcase will be held October 21, 22, and 23 at the East Las Vegas Community Center, located at 250 N. Eastern Avenue. Auditions are by appointment only and will take place between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. each day. Interested participants must be 50 years or older and are required to obtain a registration packet, available at the community center or online.

The Las Vegas Senior Idol Showcase is scheduled to take place on January 22, 2026, at the Charleston Heights Arts Center. The event will feature a variety of performances, including vocal, dance, instrumental, and comedy acts. Each performance will be limited to four minutes. According to the City of Las Vegas, applications must be submitted to the Howard Lieburn Active Adult Center by September 26, 2025, and must include a description and photo of the act.

Tickets for the Las Vegas Senior Idol Showcase will go on sale November 10, 2025, at all city senior centers. Priced at $5 each, tickets are expected to sell quickly based on past demand.
