Following a grand jury indictment, Jackson is facing accusations of DUI and reckless driving resulting in the death of Arbor View High School senior McKenzie Scott, as reported by FOX5.
According to court documents cited by FOX5, the crash occurred on May 2 near the high school. Police investigations reveal that Jackson was purportedly to quickly drive on Buffalo Drive when he collided with Scott, who was within a marked crosswalk at the time of the tragedy. Blood tests have indicated that Jackson's blood alcohol concentration stood at 0.286, a figure that towers over three times the legal limit allowed in Nevada.
The Las Vegas community has been vocal in the wake of the incident, calling for more stringent repercussions for DUI-related deaths. Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson expressed his view on the situation, as noted in an interview.
