In a concerted effort to curb the peril of impaired driving, law enforcement teams, integrating officers from multiple agencies, held a DUI Blitz on Saturday that led to numerous citations and arrests. The operation involved personnel from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Bolden Area Command, Downtown Area Command, and Traffic unit, in collaboration with Clark County School District Police Officers and North Las Vegas Police Department.
The initiative led to 89 citations and 21 DUI arrests, showing the police’s focus on keeping the streets safe. Shared the results in a June 23, 2025, LVMPD Facebook post, reminding the public that "there are too many safe options to drive impaired."
The DUI enforcement blitz comes at a time when concerns about impaired driving remain high, and public safety campaigns continue to stress the importance of alternative transportation options for those who've been drinking.
