The Lewisville Police Department used their social media presence to inform the public, posting an alert on Facebook at 11:22 p.m. that read, "The Lewisville Police Department is on scene of a major accident in the 2400 block of S I 35E. (Southbound). All lanes are shut down. Expect major traffic delays. Please seek alternate routes."
According to a Facebook update from the Lewisville PD, the lanes were eventually reopened at 11:32 p.m. Lance swiftly returned to normalcy, as the department efficiently worked to clear the scene and reroute the congested traffic.
