
A Great Dane with a towering stature and distinctive black and gray coat has been found in Mankato, Minnesota, wandering the streets alone. According to a social media post from the City of Mankato, Minnesota Government, this male dog was located on Sunray Avenue on June 20 at around 3:30 p.m. The dog, currently safeguarded at the City of Mankato Impound, is notably unchipped but does sport a blue and black collar from which dangles an Apple AirTag - a beacon of hope for quickly reconnecting him with his human.
The City's impound facility, encased within Sibley Park at 903 Mound Avenue, is the temporary residence for this misplaced canine. The Great Dane’s finder turned him in there, seemingly in good health and none the worse for his apparent adventure. Public Safety officials have urged the community to contact them directly at 911 to firmly to arrange for his pickup, should they be or know the rightful owner.
