
A man was shot twice last night in Pittsburgh’s East Hills neighborhood, an incident now under investigation by local authorities. According to WPXI, police were summoned to the 2300 block of East Hills Drive around 10:45 p.m. Reports indicated a shooting had taken place inside a residence there.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered a man with gunshot wounds to his back and upper left arm. He was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Despite his state, he was reported to be conscious and communicative with emergency crews. However, he, along with witnesses, showed reluctance to engage cooperatively with police officials, and no arrests have been made thus far.
According to CBS News Pittsburgh, the Violent Crime Unit has taken the lead on the investigation, which is ongoing.
