In a tragic incident early this morning in Crosby, a man lost his life after a botched attempt to break into a donation box, as confirmed by the Harris County Sheriff's Office. According to Click2Houston, deputies responded to a distress call around 1:30 a.m. about an individual forcibly entering a donation bin on Crosby Lynchburg Road, just off Highway 90.
Upon their arrival, they discovered the man, whose identity is yet to be disclosed, caught inside the bin and struggling to breathe. Efforts to save him were promptly initiated as Crosby firefighters rushed to the scene, trying to rescue the entrapped man and administer CPR. However, their attempts were futile and the man was pronounced dead at the scene, as reported by FOX26 Houston.
