A man died in a single-vehicle crash on the Northwest Side last Saturday evening, according to confirmation from San Antonio police. The incident, which involved a 2008 Toyota Camry, occurred just after 6:30 p.m. in the 7500 block of Tezel Road. According to a report from KSAT, police say the Camry crashed into a steel pole.
The driver, identified as 27-year-old Costas Malaszowski, did not survive the crash and was declared dead at the scene. The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office provided confirmation of Malaszowski's identity. The San Antonio Police Department believes that rainy conditions may have caused the fatal accident, leading Malaszowski to spectacularly lose control of his vehicle, as reported by KTSA.
