Last night, a man died after his vehicle crashed into a construction truck on the East Freeway near Channelview, according to Harris County authorities. Further illuminating the situation, FOX 26 Houston detailed that a construction crew was preparing to enter the main lanes on the service road when the crash occurred, the crew protected by two crash trucks positioned to safeguard the transition, yet such measures could not safeguard against the unforeseen. The driver of the crash truck, struck by the Prius, was transported to the hospital with minor pains and fortunately, no other individuals were reported injured in the singular vehicle that became the nexus of such sudden loss.
