Phoenix Police responded to the scene around 8:05 p.m. on Saturday, located at 13th Avenue and Monroe Street, as reported by FOX 10 Phoenix. The victim, discovered with at least one gunshot wound, was transported to the hospital in critical condition but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.

Officers were said to quickly secure the area, with detectives dispatched to start their inquiries into the incident. “Officers have secured the area, and detectives are en route to begin their investigation,” police said in a statement obtained by FOX 10 Phoenix.
