The Mankato Police Department is currently searching for a 14-year-old girl named Jocelyn Rose Saarela, who is believed to have run away on Wednesday. A report from the City of Mankato's official website details that Saarela is described as 5 10" in height, weighing approximately 110 pounds, with blue eyes, and long blond hair that has red undertones.
Saarela was last seen in the vicinity of Stoltzman Road and Riverfront Drive. During the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a white t-shirt and black shorts. It has been suggested that Saarela may have traveled to the Minneapolis area. The authorities are reaching out to the public, asking anyone with information about her whereabouts to immediately call 911.
