The Maple Grove Police Department recently took to social media to celebrate a fresh batch of 5th-grade DARE program graduates. According to the Maple Grove Police Department, over the past several weeks, five schools within ISD 279 - Osseo Area Schools have hosted DARE graduations, heralding the completion of a 14-week course by these young scholars. The program garners attention for instilling life skills and educating students on the importance of making safe, responsible choices both in their educational settings and at home.

Each school selects a standout student to share a meal with the Police Chief and DARE Officers—a special recognition of their achievements. The experience continues with an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the police department. The Maple Grove Police Department describes these events as “a memorable way to connect, reflect, and celebrate their hard work.”

Adulation filled the air as the Maple Grove Police Department expressed its pride in all the graduates. "We’re so proud of all our DARE graduates — way to go!" effused the department’s post.
