Washington D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser attended two public events yesterday, reflecting the city’s focus on economic issues and community development.
According to the Executive Office of the Mayor website, at the Greater Washington Board of Trade, she participated in a Fireside Chat about D.C.’s economic outlook. The event took place at Holland & Knight’s office on 800 17th Street NW, in the Lower-Level Atrium & Conference Center. The mayor’s public calendar listed the event as open to the press.
Later in the day, Mayor Bowser gave remarks at the grand opening of a new Starbucks at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, located at 801 Allen Y Lew Place NW. The new store is positioned within a key city location, intended to attract both residents and visitors.
